How to Encourage English Department Students to Speak English More Often and Confidently

Speaking English is important to English Department students. They should practice speaking English everyday. In fact, many English Department students rarely to practice speaking English in their activity. There are many methods to make English Department student more often and confident to speak English.

            First, apply in the classroom an English day every week twice or up to your class agreement. So, in that day every students must speak English in their activity. If there is student who not speak English, the headmaster of class can give some punishment. The punishment can be story telling in front of the class, singing in front of the class, find a new word etc.

            Second, make chatting with your friend use English language. Every students have chatting in every moment. It make the students increase their vocabulary and they can use slang word. So, they can learn many slang word that they can use for chatting with their friend.

Third, listening to the music when in your spare time. Listening to the music is relax moment. Listening to the music can make students how to pronounce words and also understand the meaning of the music. The students can distinguish the culture of the music which they listen. So, they know many culture of the music.
