On 27 May 2018 has been implemented Ramadan Training of Nasyiatul Aisyiyah which placed in SD Muhammadiyah Kemiri by the board of Nasyiatul Aisyiyah. This program is routinely done every month of Ramadhan. The purpose of the event is to increase knowledge and understanding of Islam and the basics of life. The target of Ramadhan Training of Nasyiatul Aisyiyah is mainly for the cadres but also for the general public such as young people and young mothers.
At this event the speaker is filled by Titi Rokhayati lecturer from Muhammadiyah University of Purworejo. The material presented is PHIWM which is a set of Islamic values ​​and norms sourced from Al-Qur'an and Sunnah to become a pattern for the behavior of muhammadiyah citizens in living everyday life so as to reflect the personality of Islam towards the realization of true Islamic society. Guidelines for living in personal, family, community, organizing, business charity, business, developing arts and culture that show uswah hasanah behavior.
This program is specifically for women and the preparation of the regional leaders nasyiatul aisyiyah itself has divided its members to be placed in several branches. 4 target areas and each area there are 4 branches. They are include Kemiri, Pituruh, Bruno and Gebang. For the preparation of our publications on cadres and teenage friends generally to follow this activity
The obstacle is the distance of each participant and there is a solution every branch can open its own event.

How to Encourage English Department Students to Speak English More Often and Confidently

Speaking English is important to English Department students. They should practice speaking English everyday. In fact, many English Department students rarely to practice speaking English in their activity. There are many methods to make English Department student more often and confident to speak English.

            First, apply in the classroom an English day every week twice or up to your class agreement. So, in that day every students must speak English in their activity. If there is student who not speak English, the headmaster of class can give some punishment. The punishment can be story telling in front of the class, singing in front of the class, find a new word etc.

            Second, make chatting with your friend use English language. Every students have chatting in every moment. It make the students increase their vocabulary and they can use slang word. So, they can learn many slang word that they can use for chatting with their friend.

Third, listening to the music when in your spare time. Listening to the music is relax moment. Listening to the music can make students how to pronounce words and also understand the meaning of the music. The students can distinguish the culture of the music which they listen. So, they know many culture of the music.

The Origins of Karang Taruna "AKUR"

Around the year 1981 initially many young people who gathered every afternoon to play volleyball. Then by Mr. Marto as ex head of the village collected the young people and formed karang taruna “AKUR”. And until now the karang taruna “AKUR” are still active.

Curug Gunung Putri

Curug Gunung Putri located in Cepedak, Bruno, Purworejo. Curug Gunung Putri is  a tourist attraction in the form of a waterfall with a height reaching 70m blend of hill scenery and pine forest bringing its own sensation for visitors. The cool air with the falling sound of water from the cliff top adds to the beautiful tourist spot that is above the altitude.

Curug Gunung Putri is believed to be the hiding place of the Pangeran Diponegoro in the era of the nation struggle in seizing power from the Dutch government around the year 1825-1830, he conducted a guerrilla war strategy against the Dutch until it reached the region and named Bruno. From the historical record is developing legend Curug Gunung Putri, according to legend there is ugly female warrior who participate in guerrilla so that no one who wants to approach him even proposed. Finally the woman went to a place and sat alone he prayed in a waterfall is named the Curug Gunung Putri. Miracles occur when he washed face and bathe in the Curug Gunung Putri located just below the waterfall which is named Tirta Kanoman.

The woman was very surprised by her beautiful physical affections. And when she returned to her army she was contested by the soldiers for marriage, she finally decided not to accept anyone in order to maintain the unity and integrity of the troops. She went back to the waterfall to do the prays to ask the creator for directions. And he promised whoever showered or washed the face of the Curug Gunung Putri will be ageless and lighthearted.

Poor Farmer

                In the afternoon, there was a poor farmer. He lives with his wife. One day, he dug his field and found a very large box. He then store them in their homes. One sunny morning, she dropped apples in the box. Suddenly, the box gets filled with apples. No matter how many apples were taken out, more apples going on inside the box. One day, forming dropping gold coins into the box.

                Then, apple began to disappear and the box full of gold coins. Farmer soon became rich. After hearing that his son became wealthy, forming a father visiting couples. His father was not very strong. He could not go out to work again. So the farmer asked his old father to help him take the gold coins out of the box. His father worked hard, took the gold coins out of the box. When he was told that he was very tired and wanted to rest, the farmer yelled to him “Why are you so lazy? Why can not you work harder?” Old man said nothing and continued to work long. Suddenly, the man fell into the box, he died.

                As well as gold coins began to disappear and the box is filled with the dead. The man should be pulled out and buried. To do this, farmers have to spend all the money that had been collected earlier. When he had spent all his money, broke the box. The farmer was ugly as before.
